Apple PB & C

You will need:
Organic Apples
Apple corer
Organic peanut butter
Dairy free chocolate chips

First core the apples then slice an apple across into however thick of slices you would like. Pat the slices dry. Lightly smear a layer of peanut better on each of the slices. Top the peanut butter with chocolate chips and then place two slices together to form a sandwich! My kids can not get enough of these when I make them! You could also top the peanut butter with raisins, granola, jelly or banana slices! If you do not have an apple corer on hand you could make the slices and then cut out the core with a small cookie cutter!

Berry Salad

A salad that even your kids will love!
You will need:
Organic baby mixed greens
Berries (whatever you have on hand) we had strawberries and blueberries!
Strawberry sauce

Plate your greens add the berries top with the sauce! :)

Basic Kale Chips

Here is a great way to add greens to anybody's diet!

You will need:
A bunch of Kale
Salt
1/4 C water

With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Add Kale and water to a microwave safe bowl and microwave until Kale has just started to wilt. Arrange kale pieces on dehydrator sheets so that the pieces are not overlapping sprinkle with salt and dehydrate until crispy! Our usually take about 6 hours!

Strawberry Sauce

You will need:
Frozen strawberries
Water
Xylitol

Add frozen strawberries to a sauce pan with a little bit of water. Heat the strawberries and water until you begin to get a syrupy consistency . Taste. Depending on the sweetness of your strawberries add xylitol until you have your desired taste. Finally, let it cool a bit and puree in your blender! We made this last night to go on our banana ice cream and it was SO good! I can't wait to try it today on my salad for dressing! We also made the same sauce out of blueberries which we are going to use in place of syrup on the kids waffles! Enjoy the endless possibilities!
